Three World Media was founded by Sarah Wood in 2014, following 17 years working as a press and communications officer in public and private organisations. The company name was derived from Sarah’s parenting blog, Mum of Three World.
Sarah is passionate about the power of good writing to inform, educate and entertain.
She worked for many years as a press and communications officer for a local council, dealing with everything it had to throw at her – floods, budget cuts, high profile social care cases and an awful lot of holes in the road.
During her time at the council, Sarah worked with local and national newspapers, TV and radio. She also worked with people from all walks of life – from carers, gritter drivers and foster carers, through to chief executives and council leaders.
Sarah has extensive experience of working with schools, both in her professional life and as a school governor.
In 2011, Sarah started her personal parenting blog, MumofThree World. The blog has grown in popularity and was a finalist in both 2013 and 2014 in the MAD Blog awards – one of only 59 blogs to make the finals out of 6,000 initially nominated.
The growth of the blog was entirely down to social media. Sarah is very experienced in social media and a great believer in its ability to grow a business.
Now, through Three World Media, Sarah is able to offer her years of experience to support other businesses, charities and public sector organisations in a number of areas, including copywriting, social media, blogging, media relations and proofreading.
